Visits to inland villages became an adventurous addiction as Yuyun and her husbandi, began tracking down the village’s best artisans and sourcing fabrics used for PUBLO one-of-a-kind bags. As the married couple duo ventured into the artisans business, they learned of the ancient methods of traditional Aceh’s embroidery. The more they learned, the more they realized it was necessary to honor the men and women they worked with by creating more reliable opportunities for them to earn a decent income through traditional embroidery and bags craftsmanship.
